A total lunar eclipse occurred on 31 January 2018. The Moon was near its perigee on 30 January and as such may be described as a "supermoon", when the Moon's distance from the Earth is less than 360,000 km (223,694 miles).

There are several solar eclipses that will occur in 2022, but the most notable one will be a total solar eclipse that will occur on October 25, 2022.

During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon and causing it to turn a reddish-brown color. This reddish color is often referred to as a "blood moon". 08/11/2022

On January 23, 2023, the moon, and planets Venus and Saturn will be lined up together in conjunction. These two are friendly planets but Venus is benefic while Saturn is malefic.

C/2022 E3 (ZTF) on 27 January 2023. The comet nucleus was estimated to be about a kilometer in size, rotating every 8.5 to 8.7 hours. Its tails of dust and gas extended for millions of kilometers and, during January 2023, an anti-tail was also visible.

March 23, 2023, the thin waxing crescent Moon will appear about 6 degrees below the bright planet Venus. As evening twilight ends (at 8:21 PM EDT) the Moon will be at 16 degrees above the western horizon with Venus at 22 degrees. The Moon will set first a half-hour later (at 9:52 PM)

Partial Lunar Eclipse 2023 will be visible  on October 29, 2023 and will start at 1:06 am, end at 2:22 am. We will be witnessing a Lunar Eclipse on the midnight of Oct 28-29, 2023.
